http://newsfeed.time.com/2012/04/19/mit ... ookiegate/ Wolf Blitzer had this non-issue on his CNN show today. He looked like the liberal fool he is with that pious moron I personally butted heads with 3 years ago in Maryland, Paul Begala. This election is about Oh-bama's horrendously bad record as President and this garbage is what CNN and the liberal media is shoveling :!: AP is even giving credit to Oh-bama's policies starting to turn around the economies in Ohio and Michigan and fail to mention that it was the election of Republican Governors and THEIR anti-Ohbama business policies that are the TRUE reason. What disgraceful examples of news organizations they all are.

The Daily Show is great at skewering the vacuity of 24-hour cable news.

It was a stupid thing for a news anchor to say, but not without a grain of truth. The Republican party has moved waaaay to the right in recent years. Even Reagan would be dismissed as a RINO by many in today's GOP.

Newt's finally gone with Santorum. Good. Romney gave an excellent speech last night, excellent while Oh-bama went on Jimmy Fallon and degraded the Presidency in a cheap BS stunt to college kids who he suddenly is worried about. 16 trillion in debt with a 1 trillion deficit again in 2012 projected and this crumb deserves re-election? I think not.

http://usnews.msnbc.msn.com/_news/2012/ ... n-law?lite Pumpkin heads Holder and Oh-bama are going down on this case. :lol: The big so-called undeserved titled constitutional scholar will be rebuffed by one of his own appointees as well :!: Next defeat for the Oh-bama will hopefully be the striking down of the 2700 page health care mandate that Kagan even helped with, and she refuses to recuse herself on this one as she did on the Arizona case. November 6th awaits for the bell to toll on this horrific administration and this carnival show :!:

Well, they were a cornerstone of his 2008 campaign, so it is probably smart politics to start courting them again.

Not if the comments section is to be believed. Edited to add: which it isn't, of course, half of those comments were probably written by Democratic Party hacks whose job it is to post negative comments on Romney campaign videos (and I'm sure the Romney campaign is doing exactly the same thing to Obama). Online astroturfing is big business these days.

I don;t feel the energy for him he had before this time. Unless something spectacular happens I think the sentiment of the populace will be for a new guy.

The AZ law looking like it has a fighting change is surprising. Maybe Obam lawyer is a royal screw up, i can see punting on health care because he can make a go of it either way, this one if he loses it looks bad for the admin,.

Looks bad? His entire term is a joke Dr. No. Get out the Romney vote in your town. The Commerce Department said gross domestic product grew 2.2% during the first quarter, down from 3% in the fourth quarter. Economists polled by Thomson Reuters, on average, expected growth of 2.5%.

http://news.yahoo.com/clooney-obama-6-m ... 49166.html http://usnews.msnbc.msn.com/_news/2012/ ... ustry?lite And here, a liberal Huffington shocking the three stooges on the trash new CBS morning show by going after Oh-bama's campaign: HUFFINGTON TELLS CO-HOSTS CHARLIE ROSE, GAYLE KING AND ERICA HILL, “TO TURN IT INTO A CAMPAIGN AD IS ONE OF THE MOST DESPICABLE THINGS YOU CAN DO”

Arianna Huffington, founder and editor-in-chief of The Huffington Post, shared her views on the recent Obama campaign commercial live with co-hosts Charlie Rose, Gayle King and Erica Hill, today, April 30, 2012, on CBS THIS MORNING on the CBS Television Network (7:00 AM – 9:00 AM).
Below is an excerpt from the interview.

ROSE: There’s much news about this commercial that President Clinton has done for the Obama campaign and the Romney reaction saying they shouldn’t be using this in the way they are – what’s your take?

HUFFINGTON: I agree with the Romney campaign. Using Osama bin Laden’s assassination – the great news we had a year ago – in order to say that Obama did it and Romney might not have done it, which is the message. I don’t think there should be an ad about that… to turn it into a campaign ad is one of the most despicable things you can do. It’s the same thing Hilary Clinton did with the 3 AM call – you’re not ready to be commander-in-chief.

In the what the hell is wrong wiht obama column;

Dog eating joke, dumb took something from his book only a few nerds were taking about and made peole like my wife wonder what the hell is wrong with him.

Saying the Romney would not have killed UBL. Romney likes firing people :roll: so he'd pulled the trigger on UBL, maybe sooner the Obama. :lol:

Making a political ad using the death of UBL. Mishandle UBL death from day one, acted like mourner in chief not commander after 10 years we deserved more than it's so, because we say so.

What's wrong with ROmney;

Jimmy Carter? really? Ok maybe getting in peoples minds Obama is more Carter than Regan or Clinton will work for a few weeks but up your game dude.

Only on people over 40, I would think. There are a few college-age Republicans who still worship Reagan, but they're the kind of strange wonks who don't get many invites to parties.

Romney does seem to be targeting older voters, though. If that ad that BJ posted is any indication, his campaign narrative seems to be "I'm the mature, responsible candidate and Obama is just the class clown". I think that's a potentially risky strategy in a decadent, entertainment-obsessed society such as ours. People are more likey to vote for the "rock star" than the "square", I'm afraid, however much we may lament that fact.

He'll probably win the popular vote like Gore did.

One thing bugging me to day is the Obama Admin playing games with the unemployment numbers it dropped even though as a total 100k jobs were lost, 115k were added but adding up the job lost it is a net negative of over 100 thousand and yet the percentage drops :?: :shock: . Pure bull to make a positive headline, shameful.

Correct and Romney should drill that point home. The Associated Press is so left leaning that they are PREDICTING :shock: a 7.9% unemployment rate by November :!: News agencies are now predicting events? Kris, you said you get your news from this group and your friends, correct? There was 65.9% employment when this crumb took office. It is down to 64.5% after being as low as 63.9%. The real reason that the unemployment rate has dropped from 8.3% to 8.1% the past 2 consecutive months is that in each month people LEFT the workforce and gave up looking. The REAL unemployment rate is near 10%, a fact Wolf Blitzer, Chris Matthews, Rachel Maddow, Brian Williams, Andrea Mitchell, George Stephanopoulus, Bob Schieffer, Chuck Schumer, Harry Reid, Nancy Pelosi, and Oh-bama, fail to tell the public. Those no longer seeking work know the real deal. It's either get rid of this current administration if the younger voters either wake up or stay home, or watch the next 4 years bankrupt this country once Obamacare takes effect, if not repealed. Trillions on the sidelines waiting for Romney to win.

And Yahoo News, Grud help me. Not because I think they're a great news source, but because my e-mail address is a Yahoo one, so their headlines are there when I go to check my mail.

Oh, and The Daily Show and Have I Got News For You. If you want real news, you're better off going to a satirist. They're usually ten times smarter and more analytical than the bobbleheads on TV news broadcasts. More entertaining too.

The BLS estimates 5.1 million people have been without work for 27 weeks or more, with 7.9 million working part-time because their hours have been cut back or they are unable to find full-time work. Some 2.4 million others "were not in the labor force, wanted and were available for work, and had looked for a job sometime in the prior 12 months. They were not counted as unemployed because they had not searched for work in the 4 weeks preceding the survey," the BLS said.

If all those discouraged workers are included, estimates for real unemployment stand at 14.5 percent, 18 percent if all the new college graduates working at fast-food jobs are counted, Morici estimates.
