In a new survey of American military personnel, Donald Trump emerged as active-duty service members' preference to become the next U.S. president, topping Hillary Clinton by more than a 2-to-1 margin................The poll, released Tuesday morning by Quinnipiac University, found Trump, the presumptive Republican presidential nominee, led Clinton 43 percent to 39 percent in Ohio. This compares to the university's last poll in late February, which found the two tied at 42 percent...........Poll: Clinton, Trump 'dead even' in Florida, Ohio, and Pennsylvania :!:

Renaissance Technologies, a hedge fund founded by billionaire James Simons, donated over $13 million to Sen. Ted Cruz’s failed presidential campaign, through President Bob Mercer. For a guy who’s supposed to be pretty smart with his money, the ROI on that one has got to sting. Nevertheless, now that Mr. Cruz is out of the race, Mr. Simons’ Rennaissance Technologies has begun pouring millions of dollars into Hillary Clinton‘s campaign, as the hedge fund has donated over $2 million to Ms. Clinton so far this election cycle. Euclidean Capital—also owned by Mr. Simons—has given the Clinton campaign over $7 million in contributions, and the figures are likely to increase as Ms. Clinton slowly transitions her attention from Democratic Primary opponent Bernie Sanders to the presumptive Republican presidential nominee, Donald Trump. Renaissance Technologies was called out by Senator John McCain in 2014 for evading nearly $6 billion in taxes by disguising day-to-day investments as long term investments, and in 2015, Bloomberg ran an article describing how the firm lobbied the U.S. Labor Department for special tax evading privileges.

In addition to the overwhelming 13 point polling lead among independent voters, the same poll shows that 20% of Bernie Sanders supporters will vote for Donald Trump. There’s a whole lot of good news and ‘splodey head angst in the latest ABC/Washington Post national poll. The poll sample size of 1005 includes a mix of 33% Democrat, 27% Republican and 35% Independent. Democrats over sampled by eight points, (D+8). However, even with the sample skew (D+8) Donald Trump still beats Hillary Clinton 46% to 44%, and Trump is crushing Clinton with Independent voters 48% to 35%.........B---H is going down :!:

London’s first Muslim mayor has banned advertisements on the public transportation system that feature thin and attractive women. Sadiq Khan stated Monday that any image with the ability to cause body positivity issues would be removed from areas throughout the city. “No one’s confidence or body image should be undermined by ads on our transport system,” Khan said.

Apple CEO Tim Cook will host a fundraiser with House Speaker Paul Ryan next week as the iPhone maker tries to strengthen its relationships with key Republicans — despite its decision to pull support for the GOP convention because of its distaste for Donald Trump.
Cook will help generate cash for Ryan at a private breakfast on June 28 in Menlo Park, Calif., along with Gary Wipfler, the company’s treasurer, according to an invite obtained by POLITICO on Monday.

President Trump?

Well trump is saying he'll make apple bring production back to the USA. Also left wing are in lock step with the never trump movement without being sure why. The desire on their part to believe he is a racist or whatever, he maybe a buffoon as a on stage personality but I think he can change the system and actually help real people , a lot of left wing companies like Google and the news media social media are circling to protect the establishment I don't think the realization has hit them yet. They are focused on trump is evil idea without realizing he actually a democrat with a lot of social ideas the republican would never embrace , he's tough on a few area the republicans are not but if they are smart make a deal with him.

Among the good signs for Trump in the wake of Brexit:

• It shows what potent issues immigration and free trade have become for voters who are struggling economically; these issues are at the heart of Brexit and the ongoing Trump campaign.

• British politics have been known to presage developments in their former colony. Nearly four decades ago, conservative leader Margaret Thatcher overturned the British political establishment by becoming prime minister in 1979 — one year before Ronald Reagan did much the same thing by winning the American presidency.

• Nationalism has re-emerged as a major political force in politics worldwide, and that bodes well for a candidate whose slogan is "Make America Great Again."

• Both Democratic candidate Hillary Clinton and President Obama supported British membership in the European Union; are they misreading the American political mood as well?

Hillary Clinton and Donald J. Trump are deadlocked less than a month before the Democratic and Republican presidential conventions, according to a new national poll of registered voters that shows the American electorate feeling disappointed in each candidate.

A Quinnipiac University survey released on Wednesday found that 42 percent supported Mrs. Clinton while 40 percent backed Mr. Trump. The poll represents a slight improvement for Mr. Trump, who trailed by four points at the beginning of the month, and has a margin of error of plus or minus two percentage points.

The tables have turned in this week’s White House Watch. After trailing Hillary Clinton by five points for the prior two weeks, Donald Trump has now taken a four-point lead.

The latest Rasmussen Reports national telephone and online survey of Likely U.S. Voters finds Trump with 43% of the vote, while Clinton earns 39%. Twelve percent (12%) still like another candidate, and five percent (5%) are undecided.
