Daniel Craig is (according to my other half) not Bond

Post by Skywalker »

My girlfriend and I watched Goldeneye last night. It was my girlfriend's second Bond movie in recent nights. (I'm trying to convert her) after watching the film she stated that she prefers PB to DC.

Her reason, PB looks more like what she would imagine Bond to look like.

What fascinates me is that she's never read a novel or seen any other Bond film other than CR.

Don't give away your address or you will have The Sweeney knocking at your door trying to convert you to Craig.

What was the first Bond film she watched?

Casino Royale.

She enjoyed CR but IHO Goldeneye is a better film and PB is what she would imagine Bond to look like.

You have to understand that my other half had no pre-conceptions of what the character should look or act like.

My wife has watched the most of the Bond movies with me. Got 'em all on DVD :)
Still not a big fan but does enjoy them.
She did not like DC going in and hated him before the end.

It was not imposable for DC to win her over as a new fan, I can't tell you how many times I am surprised by her liking a movie I knew she would hate..
Wasn't to be this time.

My wife never used to fancy Craig, yet after seeing seeing CR she now does. My sister-in-law fancied him too after CR.

I think whether you think he is a good choice or not for playing Bond, it appears as though many women do find him attractive, judging from articles I've read by women, and polls done recently.
