I really wanted a picture of him in his cossie from Carry On Abroad, to really show off that trained killer Bourne physique, but I couldn't find one.

Wasn't he in Carry On Spying? Not to be confused with its big-budget remake, Moonraker.

Kristatos, I saifd this:
As regards Bond 22 being like Licence To Kill - yes that would be great as long as they pretend Casino Royale wasn't made and get rid off all the young Bond arc. and any follow on from Royale.
And you said that I'd enjoy Bond 22.

But a Variety article has said that Daniel Craig will be the same Bond, and that the story will follow on in Bond 22.

So I'm not sure it will be for me.

Oh, my aching sides. Sorry I just had a look at CommanderBond.net. You know, the forum that isn't a forum. The place where they still use words like 'badass'. An unfriendly, tedious Daniel Craig fansite where the colour scheme will probably do your eyes in if you can stand the chronic tedium of a 'forum' where every single person agrees with each other. A few quotes from our forum feature near the bottom of the link below. I suspect that a few links have been removed.

Well, the comment about the young Bond arc wasn't in the post I was replying to. And I actually said "half-enjoy". (Edit: you did say that the early Bond elements made it unwatchable, but there will probably be less of these in Bond 22 and less again in Bond 23, as he becomes more like Bond and less like an Andy McNab character. We're still stuck with the reboot, though).

It wouldn't surprise me. What's surprising is that they allowed any direct quotes at all, since they seem to prefer the strawman technique of making up caricatures of what they wish the forum was like, such as:
bring back perice moore. he was best. Bond isnt Blond!! No Blond bond is darkhair not proper bond like moore.

bring back moneypenny q and m. m is a man not a lady. ladys smell
and then laughing at the caricature.

Mine is that he simply does not look like James Bond.

That thread did make me laugh, that 'Judo Chap' character eh!!

Even though i'am a pro-craiger, i did at times find the CBn forums very
tedious............and yes the colour scheme of the forum does your
head in.

They lock forum topics they do not agree with as well, the ones where Craig is criticized.

Of course, once Thrice starts flame wars on threads or someone starts a CR review thread (hmm... familiar?) when there is a CR review sticky thread for everyone to state their opinions, they get locked.

I think Sean Connery "owns" the role. Or Barabara Broccoli, as she can miscast anyone she likes as Bond.

He simply doesn´t look the part. Acctually, he sometimes acts like Bond (when I saw Royale in the cinema, I recognized the kind of Dalton one-liners). The "-you are not my type...-smart??? -Singel" one-liner was great (many people laughed). But I don´t like the actionscenes (he´s great when it comes to the actionscenes, but they don´t fit in a Bond-film (just my opinion). So he´s Bond from time to time, but lacks in the actionscenes and the elegans.

Actually(I can't believe I'm admitting this!)I've seen a LOT of pictures of him I'd consider unflattering

Whoa! Hold the presses! Am I seeing clearly? I agree Katied, and that very point bugs the heck out of me, and a lot of others. Detente!
