Skyfall's IMDB rating didn't reflect it's members reviews

So, alot of people there agree that Skyfall is one of the most dissapointing movie ever. Even QOS still have a positive review on the top review page.
Then again, this is IMDB we're talking about. The modern movie's ratings are always bloated, so i considered the real rating is somewhere at least 1 point below.
EDIT: Apparently, it's not just Skyfall. QOS and CR also got these negative reviews as well.

Seriously, judging by how many negative reviews on these movies, Craig should be an utter failure. And yet, they are the most profitable for the series (not accounting the adjusted inflation and marketing budget). I think it's showed on how strong Bond's charisma and name as a pop culture figure, or these dissapointed people still decided to watch those movies, hoping for a change at last.

I agree that Skyfall got a lot of nitpicky reviews on film discussion forums that didn't reflect the mainstream critics gushing over it. Didn't it get four stars from Leonard Maltin? Madness.

I don't think there are enough EON minions to sell a billion dollars worth of tickets. And wouldn't that rather defy the point?

It's easy: people who gets hyped, and moronic fanboys.
For everything that's wrong with EON today, they surely know how to hyped their things. They keep claiming things like Craig's the best Bond since Connery, the movie's closer to the book etc. And when they made the yawn-inducing movie again and again, they claimed that the next movie would be 'shocking', so some people expected things, and for those unfortunate souls with similar opinions with us, they get their hope for a Moore or Brosnan-esque Bond again in funness, at least. And have nothing to do, they just decided to watch it, even those who suspect that they would get dissapointed again.
Also, fanboys. Nuff said. They see no flaw in anything Craig does, even when he survived a fall that's more ridiculous than anything.

I was reading the review for Skyfall on imDb and literally read more negative than positive reviews. It astonishes me how the heck the movie got such a high grade. The same thing is with Casino Royale. The biggest strenght of Skyfall is great promotion and all the hype.Literally, for every movie they do with Craig they say it's gong to be "bigger, better and more controvercial" than any before.Well,I don't see how Skyfall(or any Craig movie) was any of that.Skyfall was a mix of Batman,Mission Impossible and Home Alone. Not to mention that two main things about the villian were taken from GoldenEye and TWINE.Even some dialogue was so very similar to Batman.

Indeed it did. Even Goldfinger didn't manage that. Maltin is a joke.

Welcome to the forum, by the way.
