Welcome julianzolo
Lenny and Carl mention that they watched a new James Bond film where James Bond is ugly, has no gadgets, is not good at shooting, doesn't say any funny quips or do any James Bond stuff.

Uh, Homer, that movie's been talked out.
We're discussing the new James Bond flick.
I like that James Bond is ugly now.
I like that he doesn't have any gadgets.
I like that he's not good at shooting, doesn't say funny quips, or do any James Bond stuff.

Simpsons always seems to have Bond connections. IMO that clip sums up the problems I have with NuBond.

Chief of Staff, 007's gone round the bend. Says someone's been trying to feed him a poisoned banana. Fellow's lost his nerve. Been in the hospital too long. Better call him home.

Craig does have gadgets but they are very lame compared to the other eras. Although that portable CPR thing he had in Casino Royale was kinda interesting.

"What were you expecting an exploding pen?". Basically EON's way of telling long time fans "There will be no more fancy Bond gadgets! Get used to it"

Id Craig had an invisible car, watch with laser, and jetpack in Bond 24 his fans would say "it's a post-modern, gritty portrayal of modern spy gadgets".

In the next film (Groundrise?), Craig opens a garage door to reveal an empty garage, steps inside and M does a double take as Craig's legs appear to wrap around a shape that isn't there.
M: Oh, well, err, I suppose that is completely inconspicuous.
Craig: Get in.
*Car splutters, backfires, blows a hole through the side of the engine and disembodied steam pours out of the invisible radiator*
Craig: This never happened to the other fella.
Craig: Well, I hope you have a car!
M: No!

Whats funny is that the exploding pen is one of the more realistic gadgets.
