Last month, Casino Royale was nominated for a Visual Effects Society award.
The fifth annual VES Awards ceremony was held on 11th February at the Kodak Grand Ballroom at Hollywood & Highland, where Dennis Muren will be honored with the VES Lifetime Achievement Award.
Daniel Craig's debut James Bond film scooped the award for "outstanding special effects in a motion picture" - beating Superman Returns.
Bond special effects wizards Chris Corbould, Peter Notley, Ian Lowe, Roy Quinn were named for the prize.
