I'd have put Harrison Ford-in any of the early Indiana Jones films, anyways-at the top.

Those polls are very subjective. I'd move Craig down a bit and put Ford,Bale and Smith right at the top.The rest of the people on there I'm not sure about(I hear Iron Man is good,I haven't seen it)
Re: Craig voted 'most convincing action man'
But Bond isn't just an action man.

Re: Craig voted 'most convincing action man'
Daniel Craig was supposed to be a serious actor who prefers doing street theatre in Bulgaria to big Hollywood films. Now he is known as an action man, the modern equivalent of Chuck Norris and Steven Seagal.
Let's hope he trys to ditch that stereotype by ditching Bond soon.
Bring back Bond!

LaBeouf?
Why no Jason Statham?
I'll give credit where it is due, Craig is an action man, not much else but action man he can do.

Re: Craig voted 'most convincing action man'
You're right, the Bond films are not only the series that defined the action genre that is known today, but the character also the one who defined "action man". Bond is just as much the definitive action hero as Superman is the definitive superhero.Saunders wrote:But Bond isn't just an action man.
