I liked Munich.Good stuff.And an excellent history lesson,though hardly the definitive movie on the 72 Olympics(if you can,rent One Day In September .It's a really good documentary on the subject :up: )

Kevin James's 'Mall Cop' tops US chart

Comedian Kevin James's new movie Paul Blart: Mall Cop has topped the US box office chart.

The King Of Queens star's latest vehicle pushes Clint Eastwood's Gran Torino into second spot, taking $33.8 million in its opening weekend.

Meanwhile, thriller My Bloody Valentine enters at three, hip-hop biopic Notorious debuts at four, while family comedy House Of Dogs charts at five.

Elsewhere, Daniel Craig's war movie Defiance climbs 27 places to reach number eight.

The US box office top ten in full:

2. (1) Gran Torino - $22,235,000
3. (-) My Bloody Valentine - $21,900,000

It's amazing to me that people with spend $10-in droves-to see crap like Paul Blart Mall Cop-but not all that surprising,either :P

MALL COP's opening weekend gross baffles me. I mean, really? Was that the best option audiences saw? :lol: GRAN TORINO, even on its second weekend, should have easily stepped over that turd.

Seriously..the stuff that gets green lit by movie studios is amazing.just when I think they couldn't stoop any lower they put something like Paul Blart, Mall Cop.Then something even worse comes out.

You really do underestimate some people here don't you. I'm not going to rush out and see Defiance. I wont even see it at the cinema. Though I will rent a copy when it come out on dvd. The story although interesting, isn't one I wish to rush out to see.
Cue SHOCK HORROR Nash doesn't dig Daniel's Defiance type sarcasm.
