I think Ian Fleming is just a name to them.

There's a famous, oft-quoted headline from The Onion that reads "Area Man Passionate Defender of What He Imagines Constitution to Be". I think you can apply that to the Craigskis, passionate defenders of what they imagine Fleming's Bond to be.
"He's the one that doesn't smile" - Queen Elizabeth II on Daniel Craig

The whole "Craig is true Fleming Bond" is a big marketing gimmick. Personally, I don't remember this much talk about the books and the Bond films not being pure Fleming during the Brosnan era. It just seems like something that came in with the Craig era, almost like the studio is trying hard to convince people that Craig is God's answer to Bond, and that he should continue to play the role for eternity. But to me, Craig is no more pure Fleming Bond than any of the other former Bond actors. Even less because of his looks. In all honesty, the films will never be 100% pure Fleming Bond, because not everything in literature translates well to the movie screen. Certain changes will need to be made in order for it to be as mass appealing as possible.

Timothy Dalton, and some would even say George Lazenby, are probably the closest to the books. But they'll always be slightly off due to certain changes or added elements for the films.

The Grinch would make a perfect replacement for Craig, FormerBondFan. He's got a miserable attitude, pouts a lot, and like Craig's Bond, demonstrates his macho aggressiveness towards those who are smaller than himself:

In the next thousand years The Grinch would make fine Bond, considering there will be aliens come to Earth as foreigner to live among us.

He even has that stoopid pout down pat. Throw in the caption of him mumbling: "I'm motivated by my duty" and it's there.
