Pet Project

Post by Kiwichris »

Firstly, I'm not sure if this is in the right place, so apologies if it isn't.

Just recently I've been franticly trying to find pictures of literary Bond characters (from novel covers, comics etc...) to add to the currently bland articles about the literary Bond characters on the James Bond wiki. It's been a sort of project of mine to bring them to a higher standard and add more info to them (I've gone as far as to start reading them all again, just finished Dr. No). I've trawled through google images (how I found this site btw) and found some great sources along the way such as a blog called The Illustrated Bond which was very helpful, and interesting. I've got images of most main characters such as villains and Bond girls but can't find much beyond that (henchmen are notoriously elusive). If anybody knows anywhere I could possibly find some illustrations it would be greatly appreciated!

In particular I'm looking for:
Q
Bill Tanner
Loelia Ponsonby
Kronsteen
Tee-Hee Johnson
Whisper
Irma Bunt
Kristatos
Marc-Ange Draco

The Titan Books reprints of the newspaper strips are probably your best bet. Fleming himself oversaw the strips, and would probably have signed off on the character designs.
