Look at the size of Craigs Ears

Just for a second I thought Craig was auditioning for the role of Dumbo.

Glad somebody else noticed. I was the only one in the cinema who laughed during CR when Craig said "I'm all ears".

Do you think that was a deliberate in-joke?

Can anyone tell me what is in the link? My computer would probably blow up if I clicked on anything beyond 1978 technology.

What a sad excuse this is for a thread.

Unfortunately the picture can not be displayed as an image. It's a picture of Daniel Craig (obviously) and there is some graffiti in the back graound and it appears at first glance that his left ear has been super sized.

It might have been. In-jokes and meta references are a long-standing Bond tradition, after all, though given the current crew's attitude to long-standing Bond traditions, that makes it unlikely. Given the criticisms of Craigs appearance (which were much more widespread before the film's release than they are now), I think they would have been foolish to deliberately draw attention to it, though.

To be fair to Craig, I actually thought that was deliberate and he delivered it well in the film. One of the better moments.

It's a bit unfair to focus on the size of Craig's ears. He does have a big nose as well.

As funny as this photo is, I think Craig looks more like DeForest Kelly than Leonard Nimoy!
