Rare/Interesting Bond related Pics Thread
Re: Rare/Interesting Bond related Pics Thread
I like it. Reminds me of an old Pan paperback cover. I can see why it was never used, though.

Concept and final artwork for one of the A View To A Kill posters. I personally like the angle of the concept art more than the final version.

Chief of Staff, 007's gone round the bend. Says someone's been trying to feed him a poisoned banana. Fellow's lost his nerve. Been in the hospital too long. Better call him home.

Here's an unused concept poster for Dr. No, which I've never seen before. It wasn't even in the new poster book, so it must be really rare.

I've never seen those before, they're very nice. The drawing of Bond in the 3rd pic is from TLD. But that's not a complaint, nosiree. The Saint 007 wrote:Some other Licence To Kill concept art that is featured in the new James Bond poster book.

The illustrated posters were much better than what we get now. Bond doesn't seem to have any of the old magic.

Re: Rare/Interesting Bond related Pics Thread
You're right. I also love the illustrated posters, because they had so much personality, colour, and liveliness to them. They really captured the characteristics that made the Bond films so fun and appealing.007 wrote:The illustrated posters were much better than what we get now.
