You're right, carl. Here's the same image of Moore used in the illustration:



So you can see the artist was a bit off with Moore's face.

While I actually do some James Bond art of my own, that picture for The Living Daylights is not mine, it's by an artist named Jeff Marshall. The Live And Let Die and The Man With The Golden Gun pics are also by the same artist. I should have mentioned his name when posting these pics, my apologies.

Oh, I could hardly take credit for artwork that isn't mine. Even if I would have lied and said yes, with my luck you would most likely have come across the artwork online, and discover that it really isn't my own!

But yes, I agree that The Living Daylights picture, as well as the others, would make really cool DVD/Blu-ray cover art. I believe I mentioned in another thread that illustrated covers for the Bond 50th anniversary Blu-ray editions would have been more awesome instead of that bland cover art that was actually used. Here's artwork for Licence To Kill that you might like, that's also by artist Jeff Marshall:
