Daniel Craig is convinced he can still play the young rookie Bond.

I'm not so sure Dan.

I think Skywalker is being a bit unfair. Daniel looks younger in this pic.

As much as I'd like to agree. I simply can't. That does look nothing like him.

So everyone is taking the fan art section seriously now!

Should I delete all the other "non-serious" fan art topics/posts?

Not at all. Some are quite funny (yes, I am allowed to say that, even if I am a Craig fan).

I liked the Sid James comparison. However, the Art Garfunkel lookalike does not resemble Craig whatsoever. I just thought it was naff, stupid and wasn't funny.

I think some members are suffering from a sense of humour bypass here. Isn't the fan art supposed to be a bit tongue in cheek and not taken literally? We've had Brozza comedy too on this section in a similar vein.

Btw, that's a picture of Martin McGuinness.

Without the air brushed glossy photoshoots. DC does look old.

I don't know about Bond 22, but I think they ought to cast Daniel Craig in a remake of Fraggle Rock.

Fraggle Rock. This site is like a trip down memory lane sometimes.

He's not going to be playing much of a rookie Bond anyway, that was just for CR. He'll play the more refined Bond we all know, he's said it in interviews that while he models the Fleming Bond there is a great influence of Connery so I expect if we have a more refined performance from Craig he'll put another dose of Connery in the mix and that I look forward to, esspecially the ending of CR displaying things to come.

By the way, that picture on the top of the thread ain't so bad.

Well as I'm sure many of you are 'new age' or 'metrosexual' men / boys with your moisturisers and hand creams, Craig is a mans man from the old school.
Though he has still got alot of his hair, not noticably receeding yet.
Besides the old make up took care of Sir Rog for many, many years, it can do the same for Dan.

He has certainly overdone the makeup here - he looks ike Quentin Crisp. (By the way, I'm not trying to make any over the top "gay" references here- I think that was overdone in the past  !) .

I wonder if Craig has had any botox or other similar things done? His face does look a bit different now. Maybe his fitness regime changed the shape of his face.

Daniel Craig looks rather younger in this picture from a recent press conference.
