In certain lights, DC does not look like the most handsome man on the planet.

You could say the same about good old Pierce.

Some people think Daniel Craig looks too old for Bond, but then there can't be too many who would dispute that Pierce really is too old for the role now.

Pierce does look too old IMO, but a bottle of 'Just for men' and a tummy tuck would see the Broz back in a tux.

No it wouldn't. He's just too old for Bond now. It would be the worse thing could do in that hyperthetical scenario.
The earliest he could return would be around 2012 after DC has made his three, by which time Pierce will be 59 and looking more like this.

Nice try old bean. This particular photo is from the set of Married Life. Where he was artificially aged. Where as Daniel uses no preservatives ;) Thus wilts quickly.

Image
Picture above is from the same movie. Does Pierce own that vintage Rolls-Royce? He certainly acts like he does. However we have to assume his clothes and car actually belong to the studio, or perhaps are rented by the hour. ;)

Here is Pierce's most recent pictorial. From way back in March, I believe.

To be honest, I know what Nash is getting at. Craig is an actor, not Bond in real life. Do we seriously expect actors to remain as they are in real-life to how they appear on screen?

Maybe Christian Bale shouldn't have been Batman because he was too skinny in another film, or McQueen shouldn't have played a cool car-chasing cop because he grew a long, Grizly Adams werewolf beard in the 70's, or Connery shouldn't have played Bond because he had a bald-head and large beard....

Looks like a cross between Daniel Craig and Bennett from Commando.
