AUSTRALIA'S James Bond George Lazenby is planning to return to Australia and settle in Mosman when his high-profile divorce from US tennis star Pam Shriver is settled.
After spending recent weeks holidaying in Sydney with North Shore-based family, Lazenby flew home to the US at the weekend for the latest round of his court battle with Shriver.
Waiting for the 61-year-old actor to return to Sydney at Christmas is an attractive unidentified middle-aged brunette with whom Lazenby has recently formed an attachment.
Forever known as the Aussie James Bond for his role in the 1969 film On Her Majesty's Secret Service, Lazenby spent a good part of the past month at Mosman where he frequented cafes and pubs, his favourite watering holes being The Oaks and Buena Vista hotels.
He told locals he would buy property in Mosman and relocate here when he has finally finished battling tennis great Shriver in US courts. The couple, who married in 2002 following a two-year romance, separated in 2008 after Shriver, 48, filed for divorce citing "irreconcilable differences". A bitter custody battle for their three children followed, with Lazenby last week confiding to a drinking friend that he was up for $80,000 a year on school fees for the couple's children.

Shriver claimed Lazenby was abusive during the relationship. Only after he agreed to random alcohol testing, anger management sessions and parenting classes did a judge rule the Queanbeyan-born actor was not a threat to the children.

He looks awful for 61, but great for 71.
He was 58 at the time of TND.

Chief of Staff, 007's gone round the bend. Says someone's been trying to feed him a poisoned banana. Fellow's lost his nerve. Been in the hospital too long. Better call him home.

George doesn't age well. Look at Sean. He look almost the same as 20 years ago.
