I have the entire series on DVD, but it's still nice to see that The Saint is being brought back. The 1960s and 70s had some pretty cool spy-themed television shows.

Roger's Saint series must have cost a fortune with all the filming in overseas locations. :evil: It's a wonderful show.

Heh. I imagine the stock footage libraries did very nicely out of it.

It will do for libraries what Doctor Who did for quarries. Well suppose it did for libraries what Doctor Who done did for quarries since it's past tense. :)

The Saint episode with the giant ant was a change of pace from the normal episodes.

I'm sure I read that with Jason King Wyngarde and Cyril Frankel went around Europe shooting stock footage for the show.
