Pierce Brosnan launches Spay & Neuter license plate program

Pierce Brosnan was at the West L.A. Animal Shelter this morning to launch the California Spay and Neuter License Plate Program.

The former James Bond actor created the artwork which will be featured on special license plates which are available for the public to buy.

The program will provide funding for free and low-cost spay and neuter surgery programs across California, as well as help raise awareness about the overwhelming number of homeless and unwanted dogs and cats in the state.

"I look forward to seeing it on the highways here," Brosnan said.

"Hopefully in four years from now, five years from now, (even) one year from now that we will have saved and changed the course for these beautiful creatures that are still part of our lives in this hard world at times."

Animal lovers and supporters can pre-order the special license plates online at www.CASpayPlate.com starting from tomorrow, June 9.

Unless your animal is in shows(they can't be spayed or neutered-show rules),there should be no question about spaying or neutering your pets.
