You're not at one of your white pride rallies mate. Save the sanctimonious bulls**t for your "Stormfront" buddies.

Brozza can not use his popularity to actively hurt another actor/ movie. It is a unwritten code of conduct. When asked if he likes Craig he will always be kind and polite, partly because that is how Brozza is and partly because that is the behavior his peers expect.

It's called a sense of humour sonny.
One day you might gain one.

'The World is Not Enough' Really Wasn't for Pierce Brosnan

Post by Blowfeld »

Brosnan admits he wanted to play the James Bond character for more movies.
Chantelle Marcelle

Pierce Brosnan admits he was shaken, not stirred, by losing the role of one of the most famous spies ever to grace the golden screen.

During an interview with “Popcorn With Peter Travers” to promote his new movie The Ghost Writer, Brosnan, 56, admitted he did not get a say as to whether he would continue playing James Bond after filling the bad boy’s iconic shoes for four of the 22 movies in the franchise
, including Goldeneye, Tomorrow Never Dies, The World is Not Enough, and Die Another Day.

“I recommended nobody really,” he said when asked if he had given a thumbs up for Daniel Craig to take over. “I was wondering why the door closed on me. I thought everything was going so well.”
The Irish actor still has not even seen his replacement play the character in either Casino Royale or Quantum of Solace.

“I tried to watch it on a plane once,” Brosnan said. “I thought, OK, 37,000 feet, this is a good distance to watch it from. And I watched it, and it broke down, and then they fixed it, and it broke down a second time.”
He still gets misty eyed about his stint holding a license to kill and appreciates fans who still view him through a golden eye.
“They call me out, ‘Hey, James. Hey, Bond,’ and I wear it with pride,” Brosnan said. “I had the greatest time in my life
making that character, being part of that franchise.”

The Ghost Writer, directed by Roman Polanski and co-starring Ewan McGregor, is already out in theaters.

Bond is (sorta) back!

Bond is (sorta) back!
At 56, Pierce Brosnan has shaken 007 with four stirring new movies.

Brian Truitt • March 7, 2010
Pierce Brosnan will never be the same - the same debonair international spy known as James Bond he played so iconically in the '90s. But no matter. Today, Brosnan is a full-time film actor who is busier than ever, juggling four new movies, five children and newfound visibility. "People think if they don't see you as James Bond, that's it, you're retired," he says. "That I'm still at the table is great."

In addition to the recent Percy Jackson & The Olympians, he plays an ex-British prime minister in The Ghost Writer, opening nationally this weekend. Coincidentally, Brosnan, who lost his first wife to cancer in 1991 and almost lost his son Sean, now 26, in a car accident in 2000, plays a grieving father in two other films. In Remember Me (opening March 12), he plays dad to Twilight star Robert Pattinson, and in The Greatest (April 2 in New York and L.A.), he's husband to Susan Sarandon. Recently, we spoke with him:

What is the smartest thing you've done in your career?

Come to America [in 1982 from Ireland]. America allowed me to have this career and to bring up a family and nurture them. It took many years, but I feel American. I am an American citizen.

What was the dumbest thing?

There were a few contracts I should have looked at more closely. I won't name names. I try not to accentuate the dumbness of life.

Both Remember Me and The Greatest deal with family tragedy. Did you mine your own life experience for those roles?

I play men who were broken by the death of a son. I know what it's like to deal with the death of a loved one, so yes, I called upon that. And I called upon the near loss of my son. ItÕs good to delve into that part of your life and show it.

Is it easier for men to grow older onscreen?

I don't know why society doesn't find women in their 50s and 60s sexy and adorable. Guys have gotten away with it for a long time! Long may it last.

Do you ever have James Bond dreams?

Thank God, I don't. That would be very sad: 'Excuse me, doctor, can I see you a moment? I keep on dreaming I'm in a penguin suit, suspended from a helicopter!'

He said: "I haven't seen Daniel in the role. I tried watching it on an airplane. I thought 37,000 feet was a good distance to watch it from and it broke down right at the beginning.

"The attendant came and changed it and it broke down a second time, so I figured, 'OK. The Gods must be saying something...' So I never went near it!"

It broke down twice? That is definitely a sign of something ..hopefully Pierce was able to get his money back!

Yes, it's a sign he was either on a cheap flight, or the airline he was using need to repair their equipment.

For what they are, in-flight movies, especially the ones you watch on a little screen are overpriced. Factor in their(potentially) breaking down, and it's not a good deal.

You have to pay for them?
Not on any flight I've been on. :?
That's on both domestic and international flights.

This was a couple years ago-I want to say it was on Continental- going from Atlanta to San Diego. But yeah, for what you pay for plane tickets, they *should* be free.On our way to New Orleans(we had to go San Diego-Atlanta-New Orleans on the way there) the movie was free. On the way home which was New Orleans-Columbia(South Carolina)-Atlanta-San Diego ,that was the pay-to-watch flight.
