Here's my pick for the top 5:

1. Steven Spielberg
2. James Cameron
3. Martin Scorsese
4. Quentin Tarantino
5. Christopher Nolan

What's in your list?

I don't have a top 5 list, but I second Tarantino. He could resurrect Pierce's career the way he resurrected Bruce Willis's and John Travolta's.

I wonder if Tarantino would give Pierce an icon.

I don't quite understand your question, but I know he wanted Pierce for his version of Casino Royale.

Tarantino's works are pretty iconic. Pulp Fiction, Jackie Brown.....you name them. If Pierce works on any future Tarantino's work, would it be iconic as Bond? I know this seems confusing, but I thought if Pierce would play any future roles that would be memorable as Bond.

Forget about Spielberg, his best days are past.

James Cameron, maybe. If the wait would be worth it
Tarantino I think could be the real possibility here, they both have chip on their shoulder after Casino Royale.
Nolan maybe. Think outside the box. Peter Jackson, John Woo, Antoine Fuqua, The Coen Brothers, Clint Eastwood

I wouldn't mind seeing a Brozza/Tarantino pairing. Tarantino won me back with Inglourious Basterds.

Pierce needs a great director and a great script to work with. It's good that he works with Mr. Polanski.

Is that the Polanski film? The way Hollywood has been rallying around the disgusting old pervert, it wouldn't surprise me if it got nominated in order to show "solidarity for this poor struggling artist in his battles with bourgouise (sp?) moral codes about not raping 13-year-old girls". Yuk.

Pierce hasn't had any of his film nominated by the Oscars since 1998's animated Quest For Camelot.

I can't believe how many have come out to support the old perv. Woopie goldberg saying it wasn't "rape" rape. WTF!

I looked at what gost is about and it looks like it may be good. Can say that much for the director but he is a legend.

What about pierce workign with the directors of spy game or ronin, I liked those movies. Maybe the bourne people will throw him a bone, I know Damon likes him and sort of commiserates with him about how they screwed him over to copy bourne.
