Sebastian Faulks: James Bond is a snob not a hero

Post by Blowfeld »

Video at the BBC website Sebastian Faulks: James Bond is a snob not a hero
Author Sebastian Faulks' has told BBC Breakfast he thinks James Bond is a snob, not a hero, despite having himself penned recent Bond novel Devil May Care.

The writer was speaking ahead of Faulks on Fiction, a new four-part documentary series in which he examines the power of fictional characters.

Faulks on Fiction begins on BBC2 at 2100 on Saturday 5 February
Maybe this explains why his novel was so atrocious!

Bond certainly was a snob in attitude but he was a HERO first and foremost. This guy seems to have things pegged down the other way round. And he WROTE Bond? Hilarious. Yeah, shut up, I third that one.
