Overrated crap with no substance (like all of the last 3 non bond films) that made a lot of money, it's no longer about quality, sf was a turd and a big one at that.
Bond....James bond....Rest in peace (1964-2002)

And the whole reason for a plan was mentioned in literary one sentence. We never learn what or when or how M did what she did. The whole movie is based around whole lot of nothing. They took ideas from GoldenEye and TWINE(ex-secret agent, revenge directed to M). Basically it's a nothing packed with teriffic PR.While TWINE got mixed results(we all know who was the problem) Skyfall is praised for...? The only thing you could praise Skyfall for is for copying other movies(not just Bond ones) and having a great PR

It was praised for giving Bond a backstory and an emotional connection to the villain, something no one had ever cared about before, but which current Hollywood orthodoxy decrees that every character ever created must now have.

Hm,no Bond didn't have any emotional connection with the villian in Skyfall? M did perhaps. Bond had emotional connection in GoldenEye-when he was his ex best friend. In TWINE-when she was his former lover. Even in TND-when he was husband of his old flame.
