I suppose it is more comfortable than sitting on the ground. The screening appears to be in a park.
like city stages music festival, sounds cool

I am impressed after 50 pus years the boat was in running order I thought the story was going to be about a derelict boat. In a strange way had SMERSH's plan had worked Bond and Tatiana would of been reported as rescued too. ;)

Always makes me sad to remember Pedro Armendariz killed himself before the movie premiered, when I was young I always felt he died in the end, no surprise that's what great actors do. When I was older I wanted to see what he did after FRWL and found out he killed himself because he had cancer, possible as a result of being on the set of The Conqueror. I think nearly half of the people in that movie got cancer which is statistically odd. Anyway Pedro Armendariz was in great pain while filming FRWL he only did the movie so his family would be in better shape financially. I wonder what he would have thought of Bondmania which was about to happen.

Sorry I probably brought everybody down. :(

Anyway thanks for the story on the boat nice to know they are still around and being used!

I suspect it's rather like the proverbial family axe, whose head has been replaced twice and its shaft three times. That is to say, I doubt there is much, if any, of the original boat left.

No, that was Stella Rimmington. Ms Mellor was more like a real-life Moneypenny.

I thought that was awful and just as bad as the Smith dirge. EON needs to have a lively tune with singers who don't have such high pitched voices.
