Chief of Staff, 007's gone round the bend. Says someone's been trying to feed him a poisoned banana. Fellow's lost his nerve. Been in the hospital too long. Better call him home.

The interview was with Eddi Fiegel, author of the biography John Barry: A Sixties Theme, and if you've read that book (which I have), there will be little new in there. There was an entertaining anecdote about Harry Saltzman's reaction to the theme from DAF, though. You can probably listen to it on the BBC iPlayer.
