Say what you want about the James Bond movies but one of the staples both male and female fans look forward with each installment is the new Bond girl. Who doesn’t love seeing a gorgeous woman who can not only kick ass but has a personality that makes a man like Bond melt in his Armani? And while history has given us both good and bad when it comes to Bond girls, their iconography is undeniable.

Artist Michael Gillette created a series of Bond girl images for the covers of Ian Fleming‘s James Bond novels back in 2008 and now they’re finally available as limited edition art prints. Check out a bunch of the images and find out how to buy them after the jump.

Thanks to Super Punch for the heads up on these. Here are just a few as well as a collage of the full set.

Here’s the description from the official page of the pieces. You can head there to see the full series.

Originally released to celebrate the centenary of Ian Fleming’s birth in 2008, Michael Gillette’s designs for the covers of Penguin’s Fleming Bond novels were an instant iconic classic. Much requested, they are now available as limited edition, signed and numbered prints in conjunction with Ian Fleming Publications Ltd. Printed to the highest standards by the Electric Works Gallery in San Francisco, they are EXCLUSIVELY available from their webstore.

They’re expensive, $95 for a small 9 x 13 and $225 for a 15 x 24, but you can save money if you buy a full set…for several thousand dollars.

Head to the Electric Works Gallery to purchase and for more on Michael Gillette, click here.

I wonder what the new books cover will look like.

You can see some of the inspiration for the girls, QOS resembles Keira Knightley to me.
