Naomie Harris Changing Voice For Skyfall

Post by Blowfeld »

(If true) First thought 'Why hire her?'
Naomie Harris has been told to change her voice for her role as Miss Moneypenny in the new James Bond movie because producers feel it is too high-pitched.

Naomie Harris has been told to change her voice for the new James Bond movie.

The actress is to take on the role of Miss Moneypenny in the latest 007 film, 'Skyfall', but producers feel her vocal range is too high-pitched and want her voice to be a bit more husky.

A source told the Daily Star: "She has to lower her voice on camera because she has a very high-pitched girly tone. Naomie needs to sound husky, sexy and more womanly."
A LOW BLOW FOR NAOMIE HARRIS

By Jessica Brown with Sonja Stephen

NEW Bond girl Naomie Harris has been told to change her voice to play Mrs Moneypenny in the latest 007 flick.

We’re told: “She has to lower her voice on camera because she has a very high-pitched, girly tone.

“Naomie needs to sound husky, sexy and more womanly.”

We bet the criticism left the 35-year-old star of upcoming movie Skyfall shaken. And most probably stirred too...

Did these idiots even watch 28 days later?, Naomi had a great voice in that, why change it, oh sorry that's right it's being changed so it can fit in with the boring morose bond and his army of droopy films, christ most people in this bond reboot may as well be attending a funeral, cheer the hell up eon, if even the joker who's mainly psychotic in the dark knight can laugh from time to time along with smile then why can't anyone in these films anymore.why does everything today have to be so...serious, hell jokers why so serious really does fit eons current bond which definetly needs a smile on its face  .

Can they get Danny Boy to change his voice? Bond should have a rich, dark brown voice, not those flat Estuary tones.

She had an interesting voice in Pirates but I'm not sue what they mean by this, a salutary 1930's dame?

If she is supposed to be MP they got the wrong girl. Nothing to do with voice or skin.

She's not playing Moneypenny, though I notice that IMDb has something in its trivia section about how Eve goes on to become MP, which is not backed up by what was announced at the press conference, and which sounds to me like a spot of ass-covering from the journalists and bloggers who got the story wrong in the first place.
