Craig is the only bond I can remember not accepted on his first movie (wasn't around for Lazenbys fall from grace ;) ). Plenty of people don't think Craig was Bond in Cr and they don't "hate" him. Some love him and CR but don't think it was a Bond movie.
"Fill in name here" not bond is every actors worst nightmare, probably helped rally the elite to defend Craig. They over killed the hype and best Bond title it may come back to bit them in 08. the press still loves to find things to dig at craig with, parking, behavior at the baftas. Doesn't help that Craig is a lousy spokes man left on his own.
There is no doubting CR's success at the BO. I personally feel that If Bond 22 does not deliver higher admissions then quite a few people may want to go into hiding.

I will not gloat either way, as If I enjoy Bond 22 I will admit it and likewise if EON fail to deliver again I will continue to state my opinion.

Would those reasons have anything to do with the credibility problems I mentioned earlier? They almost put me off posting here, but I settled on posting my opinions whilst carefully guarding my anonymity. You have no idea how many times I've had to edit my posts before hitting "submit", to delete personal information that might have given away my true identity (I normally only ever post on forums using my real name).

I can now reveal that Kristatos is an unemployed Traffic Warden from Huddersfield called Ken Cheesman

A lot of the stuff on the CNB frontpage is out of date and a hangover from the original webmaster. The people running it now, to judge by the mods and admin, are more relaxed, sensible, and prepared to debate in a friendly manner. Really the forum is CNB now. I hope they incorporate it into the site more in an overhaul or have the forum as the site a la Absolutely James Bond.

I agree. I like this site much more than I did before. This forum is a lot of fun, even when we disagree it's better than at some other places I could mention.

This is the best Bond forum on the net. Highly amusing, great banter and informative. There is a nice mix of members and the only people who slag it off are the ones that don't post here.

Dunno if the site owners are the forum moderators (if not, this will probably fall on deaf ears), but if the rest of the site is making us look foolish and putting off potential sympathetic posters, isn't it time to either overhaul it or junk it altogether?

Excuse me I'm right here...*cough*...actually I don't slag it off. I just don't always agree.
To be true though there are sites that I frequent more often.

I agree with you guys. This site should be given a makeover and look much more legitimate than the old news that has been posted during the pre-CR and Deanna days. Going to this forum I was not expecting such nice people to debate with (with the exception of two). Redo the site and become more legitimate where the site doesn't hate Craig but just disagrees with the casting and states the informative, well thought out, non-trolling opinions as opposed to "Penguins are our savior!" banter.

You guys have a bad rap out there, do something about it instead of being slagged off as another hate site.
