Smoking? The bas***ds! How dare they!
Makes how many in a row perfectly pitched to PG-13. Didn't they just raise the rating on the CR?

The surgeon general's warning at the end of LTK still makes me laugh. Who said there was no humour in that film?

I guess some people didn't think Licence To Kill was as humorous as some of the other Bond films, but I think it certainly had some funny moments, especially the part where Bond tells Pam to "Switch this bloody machine off!" as I've already mentioned in another thread. I just love the look on Dalton's face when he says that. Licence To Kill is certainly more humorous than Craig's Bond films, in my opinion. I find it hard to tell if Craig is trying to be humorous, since he mumbles everything in his monotone voice, and I become so bored with watching the film that I don't even care anyway.
Yeah, that Coke commercial is pretty annoying. Here's a 1987 Diet Coke advertisement with Pierce Brosnan. It's a bit silly, but still way more cool than that other one:
Favorite Bond Movie: The Living Daylights, Licence To Kill, On Her Majesty's Secret Service, From Russia With Love, Tomorrow Never Dies & For Your Eyes Only.
Favorite Movies: American Mary, Deadlier Than The Male, Dracula, Saved, The Big Sleep, The French Connection, Under The Sand

We really dodged a bullet there.
Even if it was Craig instead of Brosnan, I would still say that the 1987 Coke ad is better. Although it is a little silly, it's nowhere near as annoying as that new Coke ad, in my opinion.

No, I agree with you. The new Cola ads are as toe curlingly bad as the dialogue in CR.

This was made on purpose!?! What a revolting ad.
Chief of Staff, 007's gone round the bend. Says someone's been trying to feed him a poisoned banana. Fellow's lost his nerve. Been in the hospital too long. Better call him home.

IMO the Connery and Moore covers looks pretty classic, Dalton and Brosnan don't looks as good.
The new covers are okay, but look a little modern for my taste. Personally, I think it would have been cool to have illustrated cover art. After all, it is the 50th anniversary, so they should do something special.
You right. I'm off the new covers after looking at them in the store. Too bland and unimaginative seeing it in person none of them gave any idea how exiting the story was. Causal fans of the movies look for clues to which movie this is, underwater car, volcano lair, boat chase.

That is so cool. Brosnan was looking that part while Dalton was filming TLD! Man to have them both on screen together.
This new ad is date rapish. The last zero commercial wasn't very good either.

I like the second image as well. Dalton's in that same cool Bondian pose in the illustrated poster for The Living Daylights too, and with all the various characters/scenes interwoven in the gunbarrel around him, it just looks so awesome.

More like unlock the pratt in you, that wasn't 007, that was an advert for a rob schneider movie (facepalm), what is this james bond: licensed to derp.
It is like a bad comedy movie than any thing related to Bond. If I were in charge of Bond I do a Big Bird, ask them to pull the ad .

Skyfall has been classified 12A in the UK, with consumer advice that it "Contains moderate action violence and one use of strong language". Don't think there's ever been an f-bomb in a Bond film before, at least I don't remember one (apart from when JW Pepper mouthed the word in LALD).
