Wonder if Michael G Wilson was the winning bidder? At one time he had a habit of over paying for Bond memorabilia.

He had a good collection.

I must admit that I read all the stories on the website too. There were some interesting ones including someone stealing vintage paving slabs from the road to sell.

Caroline Munro helps shave Bournemouth mum's head in aid of cancer research. She also donated some signed photos, if anyone fancies buying one in aid of a good cause (link in story).

Reg Gadney, who wrote the screenplay for Goldeneye (the TV movie biopic of Ian Fleming, not the Bond film), has passed away aged 77: Author, screenwriter and Oxford lecturer dies aged 77 http://www.thisisoxfordshire.co.uk/news ... 7/?ref=rss

And now for something completely different. I have recently started compiling Spotify playlists for Wessex Society, based on the new music shows on the various BBC local radio stations around the region. This week's playlist contained a track which I thought could be a Bond theme. What do you think?

The headline means this story qualifies for this thread, just: Pensioner named Bond cleared in court over spying on neighbour https://www.somersetlive.co.uk/news/som ... rt-2889869

The elderly defendant said that he liked to spend time sitting in his car as he found it more comfortable than sat inside his cottage as it helped to ease his back pain.
He also said he used the small Nissan Micra as a makeshift office to make phone calls, read and order beekeeping equipment which was his passion.
Why doesn't he just put a car seat in his cottage?
