Has anyone else read the Bones books(which is what the show is(sorta) based on? I've read a few and I really like them. The books are *nothing* like the series(but in a good way).Very intense.

We read a few of the Bones books they are a 180 from the Bones TV series, kinda gave up after a few books Kathy Reichs is horrible at the relationships, romance and sex part of the books she feels she has to include. The mysteries were not too bad. Last books we read and had on audio she was going to Hawaii.
Over all the books made me appreciate the tv shows more.

Chief of Staff, 007's gone round the bend. Says someone's been trying to feed him a poisoned banana. Fellow's lost his nerve. Been in the hospital too long. Better call him home.

They're sorta repetitive--like almost every book ends with her getting her a$$ kicked by a bad guy.
