I read an online article on how to increase your intelligence which suggested watching less tv and reading lots of demanding books. I still watch too much tv and reach for the undemanding books.

So far the books I've been reading have been non-fiction books-and very interesting ones at that!

Reading books are really annoying for me, because it takes time to finish. But I would like to read small articles.

Welcome CeasAbbie.

Have you considered audiobooks as an option? You can listen to them while you're doing other things. For example, my wife is American, and I lived over there for 6 years. We would drive up from South Carolina to West Virginia (a 10-hour drive) every Thanksgiving to visit her mother, and we listened to the entire Harry Potter series on those long drives.
"The whole idea of the Bond films--and I don't know if they haven't lost a bit of that now--was that they were paperback films, as it were." - Peter Hunt
