Finished Confessions of a Shopaholic and am now on Shopaholic Takes Manhattan(there's a whole series of Shopaholic books)

I've just read Batman: The Killing Joke. Very good read if you're into the Cape Crusader.

Currently,I'm reading April 1865:The month that saved America, about the Civil War. It's interesting,and a history lesson to boot.

Trying to read 50 books this year..so far I'm midway through book 7. This is going to be easy!

It was good.
Full of names, and addresses. Not sure what the authors name was, but it took a while to get through.
For anyone who's interested it's called
'The telephone directory'
The weird thing is that the begining is identical to the ending.
Got a weak plot aswell.

I'm reading Berlin by Antony Beevor which is about the final few months of the Eastern front fighting in WWII. Or perhaps I should have waited a few days before saying that as this thread is titled - "Last book you read"!

Currently reading The Number One Ladies Detective Agency. I've only just started it and it's quite good.

I'm reading Harry Potter 4 right now.

Just finished Redcoat by Bernard Cornwell

Definitely not his best work. Problem was it was set during the American Revolution. This time period tends to be problematic for story tellers. The American Revolution has it own deeply entrenched myths, it seems to go against the grain to have anything aside from the 'Wonder Washington' propaganda and find the real stories to tell. Eight years of war, there should be a few more stories.
