My first introduction to Fleming's Bond, when I was too young for the real books, came through Hutchinson's "Bull's-Eye" imprint of expurgated books "for younger readers", with the sex and violence toned down and the vocabulary somewhat simplified, to make them suitable for the 10-14 age bracket. I would be interesting in reading one of those. I remember similar books when I was a kid never knew they did it to bond as well.
