Colonel Sun by Kingsley Amis

After reading the book series newest offering I thought it would be worthwhile to read the very first 007 adventure not penned by Ian.

Recently bought the penguin complete Bond series box set.
Haven't read the Fleming novels since my early days as a fan. I suppose CR would be a good place to rekindle my love affair.

I read Moonraker and On Her Majesty's Secret Service a few weeks ago. I thought I might read From Russia With Love again.

Goldfinger. I have read up until the bit where Tilly and Bond are being held in Auric Lunatic's Swiss factory.

Just finished TSWLM. I'm taking a little Bond break at the moment before reading YOLT (I'm skipping OHMSS because I re-read it not too long ago, whereas I haven't read YOLT in donkey's years and can barely remember anything about it).

Great to see you Jermaine! Let us know what you think of it. I read a few of Bensons books and was never impressed with them don't have the time to get read books like I used to.

Chief of Staff, 007's gone round the bend. Says someone's been trying to feed him a poisoned banana. Fellow's lost his nerve. Been in the hospital too long. Better call him home.
