Over the years I have become a fan of Urban. His name came up as a contender after the last casting crisis I was not sure who he was, however had taken notice in the movies I had seen him in. The term underrated is tossed about too flippantly in this case I truly consider Karl Urban one of the most underrated actors in the business.

I think he was mentioned as one of the actors they thought about when they were replacing Brosnan in 2005. He'll be about 46 by the time the next Bond film comes out so too old now to be in the frame.

I'd be stoked if a New Zealander ever played Bond! We need to see more of this guy as Judge Dredd though, he was awesome.
