Most of the actors on that list are too old or terrible candidates. Billy Elliot? Cavill and Turner would be fine and Hiddleston just about bearable. The rest are a big

There were a couple on that list I'd never heard of.

Never heard of Jack Lowden, Henry Golding.

Madden too short.

Not enthused by Heughan.

Fassbender, Elba, Murphy, Hardy are all too old.

Jamie Bell - Ugh!

There are better candidates not on this list. Dan Stevens maybe. Barbara is said to like Jack Huston. There must be some young unknown actors out there too who would be good.

Those were the two I hadn't heard of either. Heughan and Madden I have no opinion on, as I have only seen still pictures of them. Turner has been my first choice for years and Cavill my second. Nothing in this list has changed my mind.

Henry Golding is one handsome man but I am not for the idea of Asian Bond(Golding is Malaysian-British) so...
Turner, Cavill, Hiddleston would be by far the best choices. The only ones for which I can say :"Yeah, I'd like to see that."

Has anyone seen Jack Huston as Robert Kennedy in The Irishman on Netflix? I haven't and I was just wondering what he looked like there. This dude is a chameleon and can go from pretty boy to psycho depending on the movie.

The sensible lot among the Bond fans already want Henry Cavill as Bond. And believe me, not only Cavill would make a terrific Bond in the traditional and classical sense, but he also is a very positive promoter who has nothing but huge adoration and respect for the franchise and its legacy. The only one who loved doing both among the Bond actors was Roger Moore - loving the character he played immensely as well as promoting it and being an ambassador for the franchise ever since he was cast.

Turner and Hiddleston wouldn't be the best choices, but they'd be bearable in a good way. Perhaps I'll grow to like them more when I see them in the role.

That said, knowing Barbara Broccoli and her choice of actors, none of the aforementioned three will ever become Bond. She'll probably pick someone like Jack O'Connell or Charlie Hunnam or James Norton. See the pattern?

I think Jack Lowden was in Nolan's Dunkirk. That's probably why he's suddenly appearing in next Bond lists. Tom Hiddleston will be 39 next month. The Bond window is closing fast for him I would imagine. I agree that Cavill would be a wonderful ambassador for the franchise. He's polite, good in interviews, doesn't take himself too seriously, and already has a big online fanbase even without Bond.

Hiddleston looks youthful(when cleaned up) just like Moore and Brosnan did. I'd still like for my man Tom Ellis to get in the run.

This is quite interesting. Someone on Reddit did a graphic of next Bond candidates. I've never heard of about eleven of these actors.

Nearly all of them look much more like Bond than Craig.

Of the names not previously mentioned on this forum Ben Aldridge. Tom Bateman, and Ben Starr stand out here.

Regé-Jean Page from some Netflix series Bridgerton is being mentioned as a Bond candidate.

While I think there are much better choices out there. He wouldn't be a bad choice. Looks the part more than many.

Maybe Barbara will want one more send off for Craig - as his last film has been ruined.

Latest odds from Betfair. At least six of them are too old to be serious candidates. I've no idea why James Norton is always so high on these lists.

Rene Jean Page 2/1
Tom Hardy 10/3
James Norton 9/2
Sam Heughan 6/1
Jack Lowden 6/1
Richard Madden 6/1
Tom Hiddleston 6/1
Loshana Lynch 7/1
Idris Elba 7/1
Cillian Murphy 8/1
Henry Cavill 8/1
Jude Law 10/1
Chris Hemsworth 10/1
Michael Fassbender 11/1
Aidan Turner 16/1
Jamie Bell 20/1
Dan Stevens 20/1

I read this article and want...none of them.

Is there a young, not well known actor with black hair and with Bond looks?
