Re: AIDAN TURNER
Aidan Turner is the 'World's Sexiest Man' according to Glamour Magazine (whatever that is). He got 340,000 votes. Henry Cavil was number four or something. I saw the top twenty and Daniel Craig was nowhere to be found. He's yesterday's news.

Re: AIDAN TURNER
This is the guy I'm gunning for. His looks just scream out Fleming's descriptions.
"Dalton makes an effective Bond - lacking Sean Connery's grace and humor, and Roger Moore's suave self-mockery, but with a lean tension and a toughness that is possibly more contemporary" - Roger Ebert

Re: AIDAN TURNER

Re: AIDAN TURNER
"long shot" unless you mean long shot because Craig's coming back I think Turner is in the frame. He's not a Fassenbender Hiddleston Elba or Cavill type famous actor and he's older like a Damien Lewis. Turner despite being the favorites of people like us who follow Bond regularly is just that dude from Poldark if he's known at all. Most people will think he's random model #1,365 when or if they see that add. Of the names that have been been mentioned as a potential Bond based on the history of the character been portrayed by lesser known actors Id have Turner, O'Connell, Norton, and Huston as those who are most likely to be really in the frame. (Among other lesser knows such as Rupert Friend, Dan Stevens etc....)

IMO he deserves to be a top contender.

Re: AIDAN TURNER
Im not so sure Craig is the only "type" of Bond Babs would consider look at the names considered with Craig...Alex O'Lauchen, Goran Vinjnsc, Julian Mcmahon, Henry Cavill, Sam Worthington, Rupert Friend among others one could argue Craig was the only none-traditional looking Bond now I know he got the role but doesn't mean that other more traditonal candidates aren't at least in the frame.Omega wrote:Long shot as in babs hiring him instead of a younger uglier Craig

Re: AIDAN TURNER
I don't know about her she picked Sean bean over Brosnan, hugh jackman was too fey according to her, whatever his orientation may be he's butch enough to be weapon x for 16 years.
don't know if those other contenders were her choice or not could be MGM outing their choices out and I'll never believe out of all of those testing Craig had the best performance.
I hope your right and Craig was her midlife crisis
