Back on the serious note, Mike can do a better job than DC does, and he can handle the humor as well.

I was never a fan of Fassbender doing Bond when he was he was first mentioned but he's grown on me a bit and is obviously Cary Grant compared to DC. He seems to be in every single film that comes though so has absolutely no reason to rely on or lock himself into a franchise. Daniel Craig on the other hand...

I can see Fassbender as Bond too but I don't think he'll ever play him.

I'm sure Barbara will dig up some bizarre selection when Daniel Craig leaves in 2025.

Sad but true. She cast a guy whos only qualification is he is male and has all his limbs. she could cast just about any body and people would probably still buy it.

Might as well cast Lucky Diamond Rich as Bond.

I also didn't know who this guy was until I saw Xmen First Class.
Now I would love to see this guy as JB. He has the "cold" look in a few of the scenes; he reminded me of a young Dalton, tough, no nonsense...and he doesn't look like he's trying to be tough, like, in my opinion, DC is always striking a pose to look tough.

Instead, we got "Jame Bond" in a Bourne movie in QOS and "James Bond" in a Dark Knight clone in SF. What should have been improved has gotten worse. These are the years that the locusts hath eaten.

After DAD, what we needed was a new actor.

I disagree about Brosnan. I think he could have made Casino Royale perhaps even more compelling than Daniel Craig did. A risk was taken casting Daniel Craig it paid off because it changed to tone, sadly as Quantum proved there was no place to go after it, Skyfall has a chance of redeeming Casino, the whole Craig Trilogy was damaged because of Quantum I don't think rebooting has paid off, in the end they are quickly running out of places for a Craig Bond to go.

I thought Henry Cavill has a young Dalton look in him. Mike Fassbender as Bond is interesting.

Michael Fassbender will be 105 years old when Barbara finally releases Daniel from that cellar she has him locked up in.

Consider Mike too good for Bond based on this continuing madness in the world of Bond.

I will gladly take an animated James Bond series featuring any of the previous Bond actors over Craig's dull and depressing espionage soap operas anytime.

Forget Fassbender. It's time for the Age of Freaks & Weirdos to conquer once the DC era ends.

This would be a great choice. Too bad people are so in love with Craig that he won't get a chance :x He totally has that suave look and a sophistication about him, and his voice fits the role. You can watch 15 minutes of him in Inglourious Basterds and see it instantly.
