Even in Prometheus (terrible film!) you can imagine Fassbender making a decent Bond and he's playing an android. He looks better onscreen than in stills and can do the posh suave thing.

Oh! Thank The Lord somebody else here agrees Prometheus is overrated drek!!

Fassbender in the X Men movie had so much more personify than Daniel has managed in so many movies. Also his appearance on Top Gear was good as well.

It looks great but nothing in that film made any sense! That Damon Lindelof has a lot to answer for. It was bad enough that he wrecked the end of Lost.

Fassbender looked very Bondian in the first 3/4 of Fist Class, but I doubt he would be the next Bond as he doesn't want to be part of it. Anyone remember the canteen sequence from Inglorious Basterds? Fassbender's character was yet another knock-off of Bond, apart from he was killed in there. But, take a look at his speeches, the dialogues, the behaviour. It was a complete James Bond performance.

Mike doesn't need Bond. Furthermore, his has a look that is not relevant for the character anymore. Like you said, send in a Strogg alien to take over....once DC's successor Sheamus is done.

I know, mate, I know. I was just pointing out his performance being Bondian. That's all. Bond nowadays? I can hear Babs yelling "Bring me the Stroggs!!!" just like Rosa Klebb parody character in Austin Powers movies.

I was disappointed with Prometheus as I thought it was an Alien film, but I'm not sure it was?
