Sam Worthington apparently finished runner up to Craig for Casino Royale. Any thoughts?

Saw him in Somersault on Film4. Good actor, scrubs up quite well. Those photos don't quite do him justice, especially the bottom one where he looks like a character from 'Home and Away'.

I'd say look out for him as a potential Bond #7.

He had a Bond look about him. Whatever that is.

He would have made a great "young Bond" and would make a great grown-up Bond. But then, I can't reallly think of anyone I would not like as Bond, apart from you know who.....

At 30, he'd have been the right age to pull off CR. Based on those photos, I could see him as Bond, though I'd like to see him in a movie. I looked up his filmography on IMDb and I haven't seen anything he's been in.

Will Ferrell?

Daniel has taken credit for a majority of the changes made the in Royale. I wonder what it would have been like with Sam Worthington.

Although Sam may be better off without James Bond since landing Avatar by James Cameron (scheduled for 2009).

Looks a bit like G Lazenby in this photo.

If Sam Worthington had been 007 I don't think they would have tried to hard to reinvent the wheel. DC’s taking the job turned thing on its ear, because IMO he is so unbond. Even some of his (dcs) friends thought he couldn't "do" Bond unless it was reinvented. Thats what happened I think for the worse. A young actor taking the role in reboot would have brought a freshness that was over thought with dc in CR.

Keep the theme, Start with a strong mission showing Bond being Bond, Worthington could show how young and there for green Bond is. But not incompetent like Craig did.
more of living Daylights/ Goldeneye introduction. Or A Dr No where we see bond playing cards.

Probably a bit too tall and handsome for Barbara to choose as Bond.

This might be of interest for anyone who misses Brosnan and wants him back.
Pierce in his younger years.

Sam Worthington.

I'd say he's got the look of Bond, but I thought there was a very strong likeness myself. Nothing wrong with that.

Can't believe he was not cast.

Well he still could. He's still young enough to take over from the great Daniel Craig when he sadly leaves the role.
I'd place Sam Worthington as a better choice than Henry Cavill.
