Re: Babs' choice for the next 007?
What? And have him bask in the predictable kudos as the "Series' Savior" once again by making another "Hero's Return" to Introduce Yet Another New James Bond
after Brosnan & Craggy's debuts? Then dropping out a THIRD time because nurturing the next era STILL isn't good enough for him? To enable his disrespectful
affront to Terence Young, Guy Hamilton & John Glen's having REAL stones to Direct more Bonds after breaking in Connery, Moore & Dalton? No way.
His skill notwithstanding, Campbell's a snotty dilettante whose air-above-it-all attitude did AS MUCH damage as any of Same Mendes' pretentious bull$#!+.
Possibly WORSE because Campbell came first, which opened the door for the wave of erratic, out-of-depth, self-satisfied, directors-for-hire that brought
the series to the artistic (but unfortunately, not FINANCIAL) ruin it's wallowing in now. WAKE UP.

This. It's kind of a moot point anyway, though, as he's stated publicly that he has no interest in doing another.

Not to mention his age, he'd be what... 75 by the time the next film rolls around, add on another year on top if they have to recast Bond.

Charles Crichton famously directed A Fish Called Wanda when he was 90, so that needn't be a factor.Daltonite Toothpaste wrote:Not to mention his age, he'd be what... 75 by the time the next film rolls around, add on another year on top if they have to recast Bond.

But A Fish Called Wanda isn't Bond. I could only image how much energy directing a Bond, it must sap.ml94 wrote:Yeah...Kristatos wrote:Charles Crichton famously directed A Fish Called Wanda when he was 90, so that needn't be a factor.Daltonite Toothpaste wrote:Not to mention his age, he'd be what... 75 by the time the next film rolls around, add on another year on top if they have to recast Bond.

Babs' choice for the next 007?
I'm not sure Campbell would live long enough but I think he'd like another chance at bond since his movies after cr were technically good but not as successfulDaltonite Toothpaste wrote:But A Fish Called Wanda isn't Bond.
