Favorite Bond Movie: The Dark Knight Trilogy, Mission: Impossible, Kingsman: The Secret Service and The November Man or any upcoming actioners starring Pierce Brosnan (no, it's not James Bond which is good since it will help him expand his reputation as an actor especially in the action realm)

Indiana Jones
Star Trek
The Dark Knight Trilogy

The DVD of The Desolation of Smaug was rated 15 here, but I believe that was because of the special features rather than the film itself. It is hard to know what to think about this R rating, because the MPAA's decision-making process is much more opaque than the BBFC's.

I can see a Middle-Earth film getting an R-rated. A movie adaptation of a video game Middle-Earth: Shadow of Mordor (if it will be made) getting this rating would make sense since the game itself is rated M for mature. A movie based on a children's book, on the other hand, being rated R seems pretty bizarre. Either way I'm looking forward to BOTFA EE.
