Watched this on DVD last night. I don't have much to say except that if you thought the CGI in DAD was bad....

Not seen it. I take it you wouldn't recommend it either? :lol:

Not unless you come up with some drinking game whereby you take a shot every time you see a war movie cliche. You'd be vewwy vewwy drunk by the end of the movie.

Flyboys is "based on a true story" without having a true story to tell.
All of the characters were generic tokens for their phenotype. Fat rich racist with a change of heart, the loner, the hero, the minority, the lion...
actually the lion was true to the history.
Althou the French girl I thought would have been a improvement over Eva Green

Actually, according to the credits, it was "based on THE true story". Apparently, there is only one true story, and Flyboys was based on it.
