Afraid it's one of those annoying slideshows designed to generate ad revenue. Note that "most profitable" is not the same as "highest grossing". The chart looks at box-office to budget ratio to find which films offered the biggest return on investment.
Surprised the first couple of Bond films weren't in there, since they were shot on relatively modest budgets, but then, they were made in an era before detailed box office records were kept. The list has definitely been sanitised, though. It's no great secret that the '70s porno flick Deep Throat held the record for a long time.
