The annual list of the years hottest unproduced screenplays has been released. Some are in development, some are still looking for a buyer. I can't say I see anything in there that makes me want to stand in line for a ticket - there seem to be an awful lot of films "based on a true story" about '80s American politics, for some reason.

I read this when you forst posted it but forgot to comment!
There are some interesting films listed (particularly in the SF/horror genre) , but they are nothing new and are the sort of films I would enjoy on tv or DVD: as you said there are no films that I really want to see in the cinema.

I remembered Abraham Lincoln, Vampire Hunter from this list - and it is just about to be released!

Hunger Games was black listed?
They made a lot of those movies not sure they should of. Guess its better then remaking the same movie over and over.
