Layer Cake
I saw Layer Cake on BBC America last night, albeit in "especially ruined for television" form ("kiss my knee, muddy funster"). Craig gives basically the same performance that he did in Casino Royale, which actually makes a lot more sense if you think of it as a sequel to Layer Cake. It's easy to imagine that . Now, if only they didn't keep referring to this character as "Bond" and "007". Then again, it could just be a ploy to disguise his real name. After all, if you knew his name, you'd be as clever as he is.
Spoiler
XXXX survived the shooting at the end and decided to take up the offer by Dexter Fletcher's character to "join our side", getting himself hooked up with the secret service

Re: Layer Cake
Just watch the current "Bond" series if you want an action-packed high octane Layer Cake Bond.
James Bond: NOT just another action hero.
I'll skip Bond 23 & wait for:
Bond is on an indefinite leave, He'll Be Back.

Yup.And it was a LONG movie. There's a documentary called One Day In September on the same subject which is worth finding if you're interested in the subjectCaptain Nash wrote:Are you fully opposed to Craig in everything?
I myself found Munich rather boring to tell the truth.
Good performances, but not something I would wanna see again.
