This holiday season is coming up fast so here's my list:

Mission Impossible: Ghost Protocol
Sherlock Holmes: Games of Shadow
Happy Feet Two
Immortals

Speaking of upcoming movies, the Star Wars Saga returns (this time in 3D) to theaters this February, starting with The Phantom Menace. Anyone looking forward to this? My gut tells me that Lucas would make changes again, but I rather have him take my money than the Queen B1tch Babs. Changes or not, I'm watching Star Wars 3D, and anything is preferable over Bond these days.

I'm not normally a horror fan, but Daniel Radcliffe's first post-Potter outing, The Woman In Black, has been getting a lot of positive feedback on Twitter, with grown men admitting to screaming. Or, as comedian David Baddiel put it, "emitting a sort of high-pitched man-shout".

No
Not the Phantom Menace or Attack of the Clowns. The others I dunno they are not made to be 3D so I doubt they will be much good as 3D movies. Bad enough Lucas does not fix the color problems his movies had since 2004 making them 3d I wonder if they will look proper at all.

Yeah, I mean I'm not a fan of modern horror; that is, slasher movies and torture porn.

You mean post-Potter, right? Wrong Dan. Anyway, it depends if I can persuade the missus. She doesn't really like scary movies, even 12A ones.

Just found out that it's not out here for another week. It seems to be exceeding box office expectations in North America, though. The studio forecast was $11 million for the opening weekend, with Box Office Mojo setting the bar for success at $10 million, but it is estimated to have made over $8 million on Friday alone.

As one Daniel's stock continues to plummet, another Daniel's agent is about to have a very busy week. The Woman in Black looks set to make almost twice as much as the studio's forecast, beaten only by Chronicle, another film which is performing way above expectations (and which I must confess I'd never heard of before this weekend).
