Burn After Reading

Post by katied »

Went to see it yesterday..Excellent stuff from the Coen Bros. It's funny, profane, and profound.

Props have to be given to George Clooney,Tilda Swinton and Brad Pitt. Frances McDormand is wonderful as always and JK Simmons(who played Juno's dad in Juno) is great in a small role. It's not for the easily offended(thus the "profane" comment). And if you think there's isn't going to be any of the Coen Bros'. trademark violence, think again(though it's nowhere near as bad as "No Country For Old Men")

Chief of Staff, 007's gone round the bend. Says someone's been trying to feed him a poisoned banana. Fellow's lost his nerve. Been in the hospital too long. Better call him home.
