Sounds like EON's ideal Bond writer.

From a week ago, I didn't even have to write the dream down to remember it. I was both in the dream and out as a watcher. Connery was his older self and sort of an uncle to a guy offscreen; this guy persuades his uncle Sean to watch a movie, and the next thing I see is a full color magazine article, with Connery's words as a big blurb in the first paragraph .... "This is the absolutely most appallingly stupid film I've sheen in a long long while, blah blah blah." Too bad I didn't see the film they had seen, I'm sure it was one of the Craig 'bonders.'

Dreamt last night that DC was in a movie I had written (clearly, I had no control of the casting), and that I spent the whole of the wrap party trying to avoid him, in case the conversation turned to Bond, and I was faced with the choice of either lying and saying I really liked him, or being a total douche and telling him to his face what I really thought.

I'm going to program my mind to dream about some (!) of the Bond girls, to counter any Craig dreams.

It's like one of those dreams where your mind is too occupied with what you are doing in real life, wanting somthing good to happen but some part of the mind is afraid to be to hopeful. Good news is the script is accepted bad news is they are going to ruin your ideas by adding their's, thanks a lot ID, EGO and Super-Ego!

Might give you insight on how Fleming would feel if he were alive today. :?

Urgh, another nightmare about sitting through a CraigBond film. This one involved him escorting a prisoner from Edinburgh to London by sea in an old-fashioned African Queen-style steamer. For some reason, they couldn't just go straight down the east coast, they had to go around John O'Groats, back down to Land's End and then along the south coast. Along the way, they were pursued by an attack helicopter piloted, for some reason, by Ian Hislop. Well, he is bald, perhaps he could be the next Blofeld!

Oh, and the cinema where I saw it was packed full of MI6/CBn types, all wetting their pants at the sheer brilliance of what they were seeing. Dame Judi was back as M, engaged in a power struggle with Sir Gareth Mallory, and when I said "Hang on, didn't she die at the end of Skyfall?", I was slapped down for not seeing the [s]emperor's new clothes[/s] genius of this bold reinvention of the Bond formula.

I hate to have regular dreams about Craig's Bond. It would make a good plot for a horror movie or Stephen King book.

Actually I've just got a rejection letter from the BBC, so being asked to rewrite my script wouldn't have been that bad an outcome.

Heh that's hilarious!

I had a strange one sometime last year about a new DC Bond film. I can't remember much but I think I saw it as if I was in the film. I think DC had to run after a dustbin lorry (garbage truck for you yanks) down a steep street - obviously it had been commandeered by the baddies for some reason. I remember making some sarcastic remark about what might happen next and thinking it was predictable and a boring cliche. I think I'd been playing too much GTA as there are similar missions involving garbage trucks!

Sorry to hear the news Kris. I don't know how anyone begins that process to send in a script is you've written mind boggling to me. I'm sure you'll break through! You've got the courage to put your name on something you wrote and send it to be looked a critically man I'd hated handing in papers for school you've got the stones to pull it off. If I ever found the talent to write something worth telling I'd be too petrified to send it off. Some day I'll see your posting from the set of something you created and that will be too cool 8)

Maybe all of this talk about sets did it, I had a odd dream about being on the set of the newest Bond film. Thing was Daniel had quit so suddenly they went to Pierce instead of a last minute casting headache. I'm certain none of this could not happen in real life, however in this dream I was talking with MGW and Barbara. Barbara was pissed at me so apparently they knew all about who I was, MGW was a nice as he could be, very welcoming and I was trying to ask him/them question about the series. I guess I was interviewing them for an online fan club, what I remember about it was trying to come up with interesting questions that was not the usual drivel fanboys spew.
'What was Roger Moore favourite brand shampoo?'
'Do you still have Sean Connery's toupee? If so can I pet it?'
'is it true you bottled Daniel Craig's sweat?'

Sadly upon waking all the Q&A from the dream went poof. Not only did I feel as if I had worked all night I had nothing to show for it even if it was a fiction.

Recently, had one of those dreams that are three or four in one ... and they meld with each other, and woke up wondering which sequence started first, etc....
I was with a Bond girl (good thinking to program the mind 8) ) I saw her in a crowd, and suddenly she was beside me. The next scene it seems we were either in bed or somewhere ("It seems that you, Bond-san, will get into anything -- with any girl!").... and then we're outside and there's the crowd ... we're sort of in a park near a highway overpass, or road that curves below us. So the Brosnan shows up on a motorcycle (is it a Ducatti?), I think it's black, he's wearing a dark jacket. He stops. It seems the Bond girl I'm with is his girl. She gives the vibe she's torn (that's nice touch! I'll have to give a bonus to my dreamscripter) between the Brosnan and 0077. So with a shrug of regret she gets on the back of the bike and they zoom off. Pierce cackles with triumph. All this time the crowd is there observing. I also get the vibe some know who he is.

Dream commentary by Dr Sigless Freund: 'This is a classic case of classless wish-fulfillment, coupled with double-anxiety neuroses. That will be 200 pounds. Please pay on your way out, thank you very much.'

I dreamt I was watching Bond 24. As is so often the case in these dreams, I was pleased to note that it was more like a classic Bond film (wishful thinking, I expect), but wondered why the new M, Q and Moneypenny weren't in it, after all the effort they put into introducing them in Skyfall.

This was an interesting one last night. I dreamt I was in the pre-title Moonraker skydive scene - wow. Strangely though there seemed to be a lot more sky divers than in the film (at least 5 or 6 people other than me, I think) and when I looked round I spotted one Auric Goldfinger plummetting past as well. How's that for timing?

I thinks your dream should receive the Piz Gloria award for Best Bond Dream.... as you say, wow! I like the cameo by the Auric, too... Now we know what happened when he 'pierced' the cabin window :cake:

I had a dream the other time where a friend of mine played GoldenEye: Reloaded, and James Bond is Pierce in the game, not DC.
